One of the most fulfilling parts of the filmmaking process is collaborating with a gifted composer on creating a film's soul, which is always the soundtrack. We have now given The Fearless Billy Jenkins its soul, and so early on in development!
This early in development, a great trick for giving your composer inspiration is images and artwork, any visual references that give the composer an idea of the film's tone. Having a finished script on hand is also essential for giving the composer a flavour of what the film would be like. Having music ready this early is a great way of giving potential backers a flavour of the film they could be investing in.
